Beneath beautiful skies I arise each day,
Warm sunshine piercing through.
The rhythmic sounds of Junkanoo music
Over crystal waters so blue.
The smile of a friendly people,
As I walk through busy streets
Heartfelt greetings extended
To everyone we meet.
Towering coconut trees dancing
With its golden fruit hanging low.
It’s water so sweet and tasty
The Native’s climb them you know!
Enchanting fish in our ocean,
Scenic coral reefs.
Breathtaking beaches for miles and miles,
Pink sand beneath our feet.
Our food so vast and tasty,
Conch Salad is a must.
Peas soup and dough boy,
Eat ‘til ya belly bust!
This island sort by many
We boast that God lives here
Sightseeing’s a normal part of your day
For there’s beauty everywhere
Roots so rich with culture,
Our faith so deep in God.
A heritage we love so much
The Island’s… simply adored!
Picturesque, Serene and Sensual
Paradise no doubt.
Blest I am to live in a place,
That’s others dream about.
