(JPS) Then said I: 'Lo, I am come with the roll of a book which is prescribed for me;
Lord, You know where I am though I sometimes forget You are with me, even as close as my heartbeat.
Snowflakes dance from heaven to earth creating a powdered sugar dusting on sidewalks, streets, lawns, trees and rooftops. Temperatures seem to be riding a roller coaster dipping and rising keeping us in suspense from day to day. More snowflakes race from the skies to knit a thick blanket covering on the frozen ground.
As a child I delighted in sledding, building snow forts and having snowball fights with my friends. Now, as beautiful as it looks, it’s a bit of annoyance because I have to shovel or sweep my walks. It creates a slight annoyance..
Where did the delight go? Oh, to be a child again!
What’s that you say, Father? I am Your child. Yes, You did say, Unless we receive the kingdom as a little child we cannot enter in. But God..
Attitude, child, attitude! You know I placed you right where I need you?

Weeeellllll, You know, Lord, I am thankful that You did send me to the good old USA! It’s not so good in other places in this world. Please, Father, send peace to Israel and Afghanistan and to all those places where people don’t even have shelter…
How petty of me to grumble about a little snow on my sidewalks living here in the US where I am free to enjoy it. Besides, it does melt eventually for all the annoyance it seems to cause.
Yes, I suppose that is an opportunity to choose a good attitude. After all it is a choice! Not Papa?

Oh, and thank you for sending me here into the good ol’ USA! Please protect all the millions who aren’t so blessed. And help me to remember to pray for them daily.

It'd be easier to follow if something (maybe italics?) differentiated the words of God from the words of the narrator.
