As I picked myself up from amongst all of that stuff, a though cam to mind: wouldn’t it be great to be able to go on holiday with out all this fuss and bother.
So I just sat there thinking what could I do or rather, where could we go? With out all of this fuss and bother for a few days of total peace where one could totally enjoy each others company.
Then the though came to me, why not go to the hills, out back and beyond and camp in the wounder of wonders, “oh man” that would be so so peaceful and I wouldn’t have to put up with all of this frustration.
So I picked myself up from within all that stuff and said aloud lets go camping!
Well you could have cut the air with a knife, the air between me and the family became so thick, it hurt to breathe!
There was a garishly silence, for about 3 seconds, then the glears and the screaming was so loud I though that I was going to explode.
Number one son had just picked up a huge realistic spider, and placed it upon his mothers shoulder, taping her on the shoulder, she turned, and “eye balled it”. Screaming she hit the floor yelling at the top of her voice “get it off me”.
Well I just had to help, slowly I picked up the umbrella that was conviently leaning against the sofa and poked it.
It sort of fell off her shoulder to the floor, number one son leaps through the air and lands feet first upon it, as he did so there was this strong odour rising from under his foot.
Mother runs out the door shaking from head to toe turns around and scornfully states to me “no way” was she going to come camping with any of us especially with all those creepy crawlers!
Well I exclaimed it was just a thought!
