Our live Christmas Tree is decorated by nature.
Our resident squirrels, Blue Jays, Mountain Chickadees and Mourning Doves take refuge in our tree.
Mother nature keeps it a constant snow-laden white by holiday time.
Husband Bob does put lights on the tree and our home by Halloween due to local expected freezing and snowy weather.
Travelers in the area enjoy our Christmas Tree which is traditionally lit on Thanksgiving Day. We pray that our tree will be a witness to our community and folks passing through our area. May all who see our tree be reminded of Jesus’ birth and the plan of salvation for all who believe in Christ as Saviour.
We live in Central Oregon along the eastern Cascade Mountains, in the heart of the Deschutes National Forest and in a Ponderosa Pine forest. On a map you would find us along the Big Deschutes River at Pringle Falls, just north of Wickiup Reservoir.
An outdoor Christmas Tree is perfect for our family due to allergies. This also allows our home interior to be available for other holiday decorations and entertaining.
