Love – to create a color so true, deep, steadfastly intricate that with but one glance from the eye of the beholder, their entire being would be overwhelmed by the wealth of its beauty; the strength of its spell.
Purpose – to realize within one's self the desire to become what no other could ever be; to see only the end of its journey, the completion of its task. It is not swayed by the life or love of any but One... the One who gave the soul the opportunity to live life, the ability to feel love; the reason to have a purpose.
There is but one decision for the soul to make: will he recoil to the safety of that which is known, satisfied with the simplicity of normality and the protection of expected ends? Or will he dive with utter abandon from the edge of this cliff of decision into the ocean of possibilities, adventures, experience, joy, pain. All of creation begs him to jump; aching with every fiber of their beings to be given the precious gift of human life:
A raging winter storm, angry and careless in nature as it captures its victims in a merciless world of white. The silent scream of a streak of lighting that breaks the sky, its violent brilliance resounding in the terrifying still. The timeless innocence of a dew-stained rose in its wholeness, hidden from the world, yet nonetheless captivating, protected from the curse of unnoticed beauty. A giant California Redwood, breathtaking in majesty and dominion still would kneel to plead for your promise; for some reassurance that you would indeed live the life you were created for. They're asking you to live for them; throw doubt and fear to the wind and jump into life, swimming deeply, striving for more, only coming up for air when you've nearly run out.
Jesus said that if we were to stop worshiping Him the rocks themselves would cry out. They're waiting; nearly faint with anticipation... they're dying for the moment when it is their turn.
But now it's yours.
“According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord. In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.” – Ephesians 3:11-12 KJV
