can see my Soul was distressed by the superficial banality in the pleasant celebrations.
Ah,
Patriotic Delight
In Images Set to Flight
Of Flags and States
In Humored Zest
To Release the Grind
Of The Oppressed
Patriotic Delight
In Images Set to Flight
Born from Deaths In Battle Fields
We Assess the Victories Till It Yields
A Flavor of Passion
In Red White and Blue
Patriotic Delight
To Who See In Purified Liberty
Now So Even Less Express
Such Symbolic Sufferings
For The Republic's Mindlessness
Has Poverishly Imprisoned
Some Of The Best
Ah,
Patriotic Delight
Tis Not a Hip Hip Hurrah
But Has Become a Blur In Impure History
Released To Repeat Itself
Till Perchance We The People
Cease In Blind Madness
Agree To End
Patriotic Superficiality
Ah, Patriotic Delight
