I’ve been roaming this wilderness so long.
Trying to find my way home,
but every turn I make seems wrong.
I’ve stumbled in the darkness
and I’ve fallen to my knees.
I’m searching for a Savior,
someone to bring me some peace.
Sometimes my past creeps up on me
and through my tears pain is all I see.
I don’t know where I’m going
and I don’t want to go back
to where I used to be.
Jesus, I’m calling out to You,
please come and set me free!
Lord, I’m seeking for You tonight,
please show me Your mercy
and be my Guiding Light.
I don't know how long
this journey will take
but I know I'll need You with me
every step of the way.
Wrap Your arms around me
and hold me close.
Cradle me and carry me
through the times I need You most.
Lord, I know You have a plan for me
and in Your sweet time,
my blind eyes will see.
I’ll choose Your road
even when the path gets rough.
As long as You stay near,
it will be enough.
There’s no way I can travel this road
without taking a single fall
But if You’re here to catch me
I know once again I will stand tall.
When I feel all alone
and the road ahead seems dim
I will lift my hands to You
and I know You will pick me up again.
If You’re with me
I know there’s nothing I can’t get through.
With You on my side,
I will not lose.
I don't know how long
this journey will take
but I know I'll need You with me
every step of the way.
Wrap Your arms around me
and hold me close.
Cradle me and carry me
through the times I need You most.
Lord, I know You have a plan for me
and in Your sweet time,
my blind eyes will see.
When the hill ahead seems too steep,
When the river to be crossed seems too deep,
When I don’t feel I have the strength
to make it around the bend
You will gently remind me that some day
this hard road will come to an end.
Until it does You will help me along
and in the midst of my trouble
You will stand strong!
I don't know how long
this journey will take
but I know I'll need You with me
every step of the way.
Wrap Your arms around me
and hold me close.
Cradle me and carry me
through the times I need You most.
Lord, I know You have a plan for me
and in Your sweet time,
my blind eyes will see.
Yes Lord, in Your time
I know I will see.
