Written for a friend when she was baptized last year... it was an incredible day to celebrate God's work in her life!
Today.
you choose to walk into the waters of baptism.
Today,
is a defining moment,
as you testify to your Lord and leader in your life.
Today,
you choose.
Nobody chooses for you,
you choose for yourself.

Today,
is the beginning of Christ confidence.
Today,
is the beginning of great and marvellous things.
Today,
in this ceremonial leaving of the old you behind,
You arise,
forever changed.
Therefore,
if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
the old has gone,
the new has come.

Arise!
all heaven applauds you
Arise!
and walk in newness of life.
Arise!
we stand with you.
Arise,
Go forth!
