It finally became to heavy
As everything piled on that day
All of the past I kept with me
As my knees buckled I began to pray
“Lord you said you’d never give more
Than you thought I’d be able to bear
Now it’s to the point I can’t carry
I was just wondering if you are aware”
Then I heard a voice inside my head
As if someone were talking to me
Saying “This is a load you packed yourself
I’m just the one who can set you free"
“As years went by I watched you pack
You never left anything behind
This is not carried upon your back
It weighs on your heart, soul and mind”
“I never interfered, I let you go
Now it’s put you where you should be
I wait until it’s heavy enough
To put you on your knees talking to Me”
