As I kneel on this ground
That I created with You
I long to stand once again
In the glory we had before
I know what is to come
Yet this flesh begs to live
I hear deaths dark flesh creeping nearer
His voice mocks my name
The evil one whispers in my heart
Bow down and worship me
And all this will go away
The sin of all mankind
The mental anguish and twisted bones
The hurts and sorrows man has felt
The grief’s he has endured
All this I am now carrying
It even disrupts my flesh
And forces blood from my pores
How can I endure this
It is impossible for me to carry
I'd love to stay and help them
You have given to my hand
The hour is closing nearer
The one you have chosen
Has lifted his hand against me
Betrayed by a kiss
A kiss
