I saw this scene on my way back to work one day and it stuck in my mind. So I wrote a poem.
A bird hovers 
Just below the power line 
Wings flapping, striving upwards. 
The air is still and chill
Inside my car as I pass
Must be a powerful stream
Of air the bird is fighting
Valiantly flapping wings
Pausing before the struggle. 
Is this how we are
As we battle through our lives?
