A TROOP OF GRAYS
Others see us
Old and gray
Pause
Hear what we say
Write the story
Wield the sword
Win battles
Name of the Lord
Accolades no
Hear no applause
Keep in
March for the cause
Trained our young
They grew
Watched them
Heard them
Lay hands
Saw recovery
Joy
Unequal
Dead raised
Prodigals returning
Job well done
His power burning
Within our heart
Hand in hand
Lifting banners
Throughout the land
Troop of Grays
Don’t scratch or claw
Room in the Mansion
Place for all
Spot one
They travel
Troop of Grays
Hear them well
Marvelous
A wonder
Hair turned gray
Heart still gold
