COUNT THE STARS AND NUMBER SAND
Count the stars and number sand,
Sum each grain that makes up land;
Weigh the raindrops, one by one,
Bind the howling winds that run;
Hug the Sun and Neptune roam
Pierce the heavens with thy dome;
Cease his motion, still the ant,
Make more robots for air pant;
Womb a eunuch, clone with twins,
Turn the Devil from his sins;
Firm as mounts, thy Laws all fix,
Change the week, that days be six;
Dam the flow of violent seas,
Make ripe fruits ascend from trees;
Drape a beast, adapt his cape,
Man is man and ape is ape;
Man of science, poor blind sod,
Thou art far at finding God.
