Oh, what is this swirling In front of me?
It can’t be caught
It can’t be hugged
What is this brushing past me?
Hard to see.
Christ said the Helper is coming.
That Holy Spirit of the Living God.
It will live in you.
That explains it, swirling, hard to grasp.
It has got its hold on me.
I just have to believe, He’s there.
I see. I feel. I know.
This is too sweet for God to do for me.
Send Himself in Spirit form so I
Would never be
Now I have to trust more
Because this Spirit is like
The Father says I’ll be
Like this wind. Swirling, illusive,
Hard to hold.
Those around me won’t
Know where I am, where I’m going,
Who am I, what I’m doing.
Well, I’m like my Father, God,
A spirit swirling, blowing, illusive,
Hard to hold on to.
You’ll just have to know, I’m here.
