As the ground looks dead and barren, And the thorns cut like a knife,
As the cold wind chills my body, And the sun disturbs my eyes,
I can hear the silence broken, As one lonely bird arrives.
He dives into the waters, With expert skills he grabs one fish,
He flies off to his family, For which they’ll share this scrumptious dish.
He’ll come back here tomorrow, And try his luck again,
And he’ll soar back through the heavens, As he rides upon the wind.
The very wind that makes the current, That moves the water to the sea,
That moves the sea into the ocean, Has begun right here with me.
It is the power of his nature, As every journey is in his plans,
As every creature has been created, To fill the design of all his lands.
The muddy water has turned sparkling, As the sun shines on it’s streams,
The lifeless trees show signs of history, As many travelers fulfilled their dreams.
The barren ground and knife like thorns, Will soon be covered with his wild,
And I am warmed by the embrace, Of a Loving Father to His Child.
