I felt anxious and agitated in the queue as I waited to be served, at one point I thought perhaps I should visit another bank for a quick service; standing and waiting for two hours was not only tiring but discouraging as well.
Anxiety comes when our expectations are not met as per our plans and program; in fact it limits success or outcome of our action. I as reflected on this point I realize God always teaches us patience in our waiting process. Every product that is of good quality and appealing to a customer takes time as is being manufactured, that's why God keeps molding us day by day that we may be a nourishing sweet aroma before him. The scripture as well states clearly that we should not be anxious in anything but in prayer and supplication let your request be made known unto God and his peace that surpasses all human understanding will guard our hearts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV)
God already knows the urgency of our need and will intervene at that point when its right for him, but as Christians we tend to feel God has forgotten all about us, the devil likewise uses such moments in our lives to suggest shortcuts that will eventually lead us to destruction. I do fully understand the pain and the discouragements that come in our waiting process but God has promised his peace and comfort to assure us of his presence at that moment. He will bring to accomplishment that which he has started if we do not loose heart.
Let it be your prayer to keep waiting upon him, once your character is mature and complete, God will reveal himself to you and will remove the anxiety within.
