Verse 1:
Jesus sailed upon the Sea of Galilee.
Soon, the boisterous winds began to blow.
We will die, His disciples cried to Him in fear.
Don’t You care that we will all be lost?
Chorus 1:
Peace, be still, were the words that Jesus said.
Peace, be still, wind, cease to blow.
Peace, be still, for the Lord your God is here.
I will calm this raging storm tonight.
Have faith in Me, and Peace, be still.
Verse 2:
As we sail upon the sea of life tonight.
Soon the winds of care begin to blow.
Overwhelmed we cry out to the Lord in fear.
God, don’t you care that all will soon be lost?
Chorus 2:
Peace, be still, are the words that Jesus says.
Peace, be still, calm your soul.
Peace, be still, for the Lord your God is near.
I will calm this raging storm of life.
Just trust in Me, and Peace, be still.
(Repeat Chorus 2)
Ending:
So whatever lies ahead, just remember Jesus says, Peace, be still.
