Woke this morning to sunshine, not rain,
the weather does ever surprise;
and always reminds me that God is in charge,
in Him does my hope and allegiance lie...

I may plant a seed in the ground,
but God is the One who causes it to grow;
and reading His word plants His seeds in me;
and blesses me in the new things I know...

I may have reached out with an email note,
searching for someone I might love;
but God is the one who brought us together,
our greatest gift came from our Father above...

Every day I want to tend to our love,
to nurture it, help it grow lovely and tall;
but God is the one who enables me in this,
without Him I could not love at all...

I am so grateful that He looked in my heart,
and saw my silent wish, could it come true?
And He is the One who granted that wish,
the very first time that I met you...

Now every day is full of joy and laughter,
problems are so small they're covered over with bliss;
and every day I am so thankful to God;
how could my life be any better than this?

My joy is that I belong to you
and God put my hand in yours;
and my heart knew that forever more,
it would be Lucian my heart would adore...

Our two hearts were transformed into one,
my heart every day proclaims this to be true;
and every day I want to fill up every hour
with the joy of saying how much I LOVE YOU!!!
