Music woke me up today,
an unseen bird's melody;
and I thanked God for this tiny gift,
to start the day heart-happy...

I wondered at the song I heard,
with runs and trills galore;
and knew the sunshine was pouring in,
my heart asked, 'who could ask for more?'

To hear the birds and feel such joy,
is a gift God sends to me anew;
to celebrate the other gift,
my heart full of love for you...

I want to join that bird in song,
to sing a melody brand new;
to run and dance in the dewy grass,
pouring out how much I LOVE YOU!!

Can I ever thank God enough,
for all that He has done for me?
Never I know, but what things I can,
I'll do for Him, what joy to be heart-free!

I cherish every moment with you,
sharing all we are lets me know how it's true;
that money could never buy this gift,
the wonder that I LOVE YOU!!

This is riches beyond the counting,
the abundance that is ever new;
for all we share comes straight from God,
and oh, how much I LOVE YOU!!
