THIS WEEKS PONDERING POINT
A PONDERING POINT IS A SHORT STORY OR QUOTE THAT HELPS YOU FOCUS
ON A GREAT POINT TO PONDER THROUGH YOUR WEEK.....

I absolutely hate combination locks. You know the kind where you have to turn it three times to the right two times to the left then cross your finger hold your nose and stand on your head for it to open. Well that might be a bit extreme but you get the point. The purpose of these torture devices is to make sure you follow the correct order and locate the correct locking points. Once completed the predetermined combination releases the lock. Pretty simple right..
Point to ponder
Our lives can be summed up that way as well. Many times it takes different combinations of experience, learned skill, and timing to unlock the purpose of God in our lives. Ester -4-14(who knows but that you have come to a royal position FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS)Ester would have never imagined the locking points in her life would lead to saving a nation by her brave voice. Sometimes it can seem like we are just going through the daily, weekly, even yearly routine. Trust me I have been there. When it seems like were going no where and you can't see any progress. Philippians 2-13 ( for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose) Trust his hand in your life. And wait for him to open the locks..............I don't know what locking point you have hit recently. Maybe it's in a relationship maybe on the job, your career, even a dream you can't imagine be fulfilled. Be encouraged for every locking point brings you closer to the release...

Thanks for pondering

Thanks for making me ponder this point! You brought out some wonderful truths about our walk with the Lord. I like thinking that my life is a combination of events and places that the Lord used and uses to "unlock" His plan for me.
