"Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel." (Proverbs 20:15)
Wisdom, understanding and knowledge are extremely valuable and rare commodities in this world. So much that passes for knowledge in the world system is really silliness in the eyes of the LORD. Developing wisdom, obtaining knowledge, gaining understanding should be the mission of all of the LORD's people. It is easy for us to realize that gold and precious stones are valuable in our time because they are scarce and the demand is generally larger than the supply. Compared to lips that speak knowledge, though, there is an abundance of gold and rubies available. Value the really important things of life and you will live a peaceful and blessed life. Knowledge is one of those things of great value you have a right and responsibility to possess. Do it!
