Psalm 5:7, "But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy...."
We have the privilege of entering God’s presence with confidence because of His abundant love. There aren’t any "No Trespassing" signs to abide by or any "Keep Out" signs posted to keep us away from the presence of the Lord. All are welcome and at any time.
Is there anything that keeps you away from the presence of the Lord? Even though there aren’t any signs posted forcing us to stay away from God, there are other things in our lives that may keep us from Him. For example, having a guilty conscience or struggling with the mind set of not being good enough can keep us away. Or maybe even believing that God is mad or greatly disappointed in us. If this is the case, then we need to remind ourselves of these verses, "Love endures long and is patient and kind," (1 Cor. 13:4) and the fact that God is love (1 John 4:8).
There’s always an open door when it comes to being in God’s presence. As a matter of fact, His sign says, "Please Enter!" No matter what you’re struggling with or what you’ve done, God is always bidding you to come to Him!
