The recent gift God gave me is the book 'More than a Carpenter' by Josh McDowell and believe me it is such a great blessing for me to feed myself with the blessed contents as a I read them.
The claims of Jesus are great and true, however unbelievable by many and thus they concluded 'He was out of His mind' and when they tried to seize Him He said thus unto them....
"Then Jesus said to them, "I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me. You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come." "
John 7:33-34 (New King James Version)
We know time passes by and also carries the opportunities with it.
We have today with us, we know the truth or at least if we are still searching for it, we can pray 'that God may reveal Himself to us today'.
We might have different goals in our lives, however the best destination to reach is what the Lord God intends for us, for as I said we only know our past and our present, however God knows our tomorrow and our life ahead.
Would it not be wise and blessed if we follow the Lord and reach where He intends us to.
Jesus in the verse above seeing the rigidity, closeness and self righteousness of the Pharisees said to them 'and where I am you cannot come.', however if we humbly yield to our Lord's command which He gives with a desire to bless us, will we not hear....
"His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'"
Matthew 25:21 (New King James Version)
Dear Ones!!! The decision we make affects our eternity, thus its very important, yet let's thank the Lord that He has made it so clear...
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
John 14:6 (New King James Version)
