Jesus Christ is truly God,
But was not trying to be;
And even though being flawed,
As to live life so can we.

Not in being God as such,
Or being equal no way;
Rather to live life as much,
As Christ did every day.

He gave up everything,
And then becoming a slave;
Living the way that we cling,
But just as we should behave.

Christ was humble and obeyed,
Of what the Father commands;
Knowing the price to be paid,
He put His life in God's hands.

God gave Him the highest place,
So we can honor His name;
And unto us shed His grace,
As we go out and proclaim.
