* This writing is not being presented as an accurate description of Hell.
From what I've read in the Bible scriptures, hell is far worse than man’s mind can even begin to comprehend.
The torment endured in hell, will be for ever. There will be no relief, no mercy will be given to those who go there.
It is my sincere desire that everyone reading this will turn to God, if they haven't already.
He made a way of escape for us at Calvary. we don’t have to go there!!

In A Place Called Hell

The evening started, like many others before
I’d just finished putting in my time at church
Now was the time, to relax for a few minutes
before doing the other things I liked so much

I leaned back to rest my head for just a while
cause this had been one long, exhausting day
I felt that weariness, began to slowly subside
before long my surroundings just faded away

I opened my eyes but blackness engulfed me
I groped blindly in the dark, to find the light
There was nothing but vacant space to grasp
my heart pounded, my body filled with fright

I started walking, so frightened in this place
each step took me deeper into the eerie mist
I came upon a gate, a man greeted me there
“oh you’re here, step up this way” he hissed

There was a bright fiery glow, casting a light,
I inquired where am I, what can this place be
The man just snickered, with a wicked voice
“this is hell and you’ve come to live with me”

He grabbed my hand, then pulled me inside
the sickening stench took all my breath away
Sounds of tormented screams filled my ears
I didn’t like it there and I wasn’t about to stay

I turned around to go back the way I’d came
but an unseen force knocked me to the floor
“And, just where do you think you are going
you can’t leave! ” he said, slamming the door

Oh God, I screamed out with all of my might
I wept loudly, but the heat dried up every tear
He said, “go on and cry as much as you want
but you are never going to find, a Savior here”

He snickered and giggled, in his wicked voice
I cried much louder, in panic and desperation
“Son you wont find help down here, he jeered
“time has passed, for you to receive salvation”

You sat upon the church pew time after time
the Preacher described, what waited up ahead
I kept your mind focused on the worldly woes
so that you couldn’t listen to the words he said

Well look at you now, you sniveling hypocrite
I have a hot place for you to sit .... if you dare
Shoving me farther into the hot searing flames
you thought you’d be saved... never trust a liar

I heard his evil laughter echoing everywhere
I cried “no, I do not belong here, let me out”
As pain seized me body I cried out in despair
but my mouth, was just too parched to shout

I clawed at the door, until all my fingers bled
there had to be a way out, of the awful place
Then I felt the flames lapping up at my flesh
as I looked upon my tormentor's, jeering face

Screams echoed, on every wall and chamber
tortured souls, cursing the day of their birth
Shrills of pain filled the darkness around me
I begged to go back, back to my life on earth

I heard screaming, coming forth from within
I awoke to find my body drenched with sweat
I fell upon my knees, and repented unto God
a dream about hell is as close as I want to get

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Bessie, I have seen hell and Lucifer in a dream. Jesus was standing beside me in a bright shaft of light and said to Lucifer,"She belongs to me." Yes, hell is real and my heart is burdened concerning those who are there and those who are heading there!! Oh my God!! If people could only believe!! Thank you dear Sister!! Anita

I doubt that many that have just come to the Lord, know of hell because its not preached about or talked about. Thank you for writing this and wish more could see it. This increases my desire to be with our Lord!

What a horrid, vivid, soul-awakening dream! You have painted this picture of hell so well that I pray it will jolt anyone who reads it, and has not yet found salvation, to call on God to deliver them from this horrible "Place Called Hell."
Powerful picture-painting poetry.
