Dan, I like your style. Love that sense of humor. The title definitely got my attention, and although a tiny bit disjointed in parts, it was still a fun read with a great message. I'm still chuckling at the dash board warning lights being more like "suggestion lights." You just caused a million auto-mechanics to wail in anguish.
Knowing about your brake does make me wonder if registration checks are a lot less intense than they are over here (in Australia). And given the state of your brake, I think it probably wouldn't hurt to hitch the bumper to the rail next time you visit that restaurant. :-)
Anyway, I hope you'll keep sharing your work with us, and if you aren't already doing so, I hope you'll jump into the weekly Writing Challenge when we start back next Thursday. It's going to be a very interesting ten weeks.
Thanks for the smile and the message.
With love, Deb (Editor, FaithWriters' Magazine and Challenge Coordinator)
