Angels have passed this way today
With God’s message to impart
Even though you didn’t see them
Their presence was felt with your heart.

When you feel the pangs of loneliness
Bring you down so low
A voice sweetly whispers in your ear
He loves you more than you’ll ever know.

The times life closes in
And you’re engulfed in despair
Your heart is soon reminded
Don’t you know He’s always there.

Those were the voices of God’s angels
Gently whispering in your ear
Because your Father above has charged them
To watch over you and always be near.

So, the next time you sense
Angels pass your way
Open your heart and ears
To hear what the Lord has sent them to say.
