Shadowed Vine
Vinedresser's shadow
on terra firma is seen
At times so painful...
the knife of My King
Pruning with tenderness
these branches of death...
nourishing the living
with His blood and His breath
Grafted to the heart
of Grand Tender of Vines...
changing the shape
of our hearts and mind
Tender's committal...
cost Him His life
Branch's confession...
"Lord, spare me Your knife!"
His love constrains us
to patiently wait...
when The Dresser's shadow
darkens our gate
Soon we shall see Him...
His radiant splendor...
This Dresser of vines...
and Divine Heart Tender
"Nurture us Lord...
We branches are Thine"
The Vinedresser's shadow
is also "The Vine"

"I am the vine; you are the branches." John 15:5
