She uses such wiles to weave her way
into the depths of our lives;
with devious angles she wrangles and tangles,
every evil she can contrive.
Unwittingly, we invite and enable her,
easily giving her place;
then she will manuever all space we give new to her
in fast and furious pace.
So, we must beware and take every care
to consider each action we take,
for she waits in the wings to prey on all things
fraught with haste and mistake.
Each decision we make has consequence...
a fact we cannot evade,
and what we send forth will again come hence
till we sleep in the bed we have made.
Pray now awake and sound the alarm,
let wisdom your watchtower be;
take heed to avoid her very approach
if joy is your destiny.
Be sure you're correct before you proceed
is the prudent way to go....
then lady "Misfortune" will seldom play lead
in your life's picture show.
