Scarey but true...A wakeup call for our time
I was so happy when, for the first time in a long time, my Father in law called my husband and I from Puerto Rico the other day. He always sounds so excited when he hears our voices. Since he's moved down there to get re-married, he's been missing his family here in NJ so much. He was always used to being around his kids, so, sometimes when we hear his voice, he sounds rather unhappy. As a born again Christian himself, sadly, he has stopped going to church for a long time and we're praying for his return to the alter. He is such a wonderful man, a man that God is calling back to his kingdom in many ways...Including a way that recently occured that I never thought in mylifetime would come to pass.
As I spoke with my Father in law on the phone, I realized just how much I was missing him. We spoke on many topics like the weather, him annoying and pulling the tail of his cat, our vacation that is quickly coming next month where my husband and I will go and visit him, etc. My Father in law and I also spoke about something that had happened recently in Puerto Rico that I think made the hair stand up on my neck.
My Father in law, Raymond, told me about a recent occurance in a local supermarket near his home. It so happened that, at the time this all took place, my Father in law was not there, thank God. Anyway, that day at the supermarket seemed like any other busy shopping day. On one of the checkout lines, there stood a woman that was dressed in muslim/arabic attire, yet I don't think that the people there really could tell where she was from. Not that it really mattered. Yet in a few minutes, all the people there would find out just exactly where she was from.
As the mysterious lady walked up to the counter to "what seemed like" pay for her items, the cashier asked the normal question that she does to any customer, "How will you pay for that, cash or charge?" Well, this mysterious lady said, lifting the veil from her forehead, "I'm going to pay with the sweat of my brow." What was seen on the forehead of this lady shocked and startled everyone. On the myterious lady's forhead, was the mark of the beast-"666." People were stunned and afraid for dear life. The cashier looked as if she was beginning to loose her mind and go crazy, as she screamed in terror. Then suddenly, the mysterious lady disappeared in a trail of smoke.
I don't think anyone could believe what had just happened. They probably had wished that it was a dream they could've all woken up from and forgotten. What might have seemed like something that would never happen in their little town in Puerto Rico, suddenly turned in to a big news broadcast. As the newsbroadcast ran it's course, the newsman played the servalence tape for his viewers. What was seen on the tape shocked and amazed everyone, I'm sure. For, people could see this shopping cart, which seemed to move on it's own, and food just jumping in to the cart on it's own. Later, the cart just seemed to wait on the check out line all by itself, without anyone behind it. The servalence camera tape had proved that this was no "made up story of fiction." What the customers in the supermarket had seen and heard that day had actually happened and The mysterious lady was clearly sent from the pit of hell and it's master-satan.
Sadly, the cashier of the supermarket, had to be taken to the hospital, where she later died from loosing her mind to tremendous shock and fear.
I don't know what I would have done in that kind of a situation. My finger are numb as I type this, for I know, there's a lesson that God wants us to quickly learn and remember..."Jesus is coming soon!" The signs and prophecies that the book of Revelations spoke about are all happening and it's more than frightening. What happened that day in Puerto Rico was meant, I believe, to be a "Wake Up Call" to mankind from God, as if he were saying, "Open your eyes, for my hand is upon you and I am coming soon." "Repent and come back to me before it's too late." I know hearing this story both shocked and woke me up. For no Christian is perfect. We too must repent daily and waste no precious time on selfish, or foolish actions. When Jesus comes, he wants his children to be ready. I think that this was the main message that God wants us to get out of this whole ordeal. God is telling us to, "Be ready," for he could come at any moment.
I can honestly say that if Jesus came right now at this very moment, I wouldn't be ready. I repent of all my sins and wrongdoings, in Jesus' precious name and I hereby promise to do better every day. For I long, to meet with the Lord in the sky and fly with him to Heaven. May we, as brothers and sisters in Christ, not only read this story, but remember it always and use it as a remarkable reminder to open our eyes, because the time for change is at hand.
