Is there no other way to settle differences?
Alas! Man's Achilles' heel is his wrath;
As always, the next person suffers the consequences.

Women and children murdered in cold blood,
Towns and cities levelled to dust,
The noise of mirth drowned in eerie silence;
What happened to that voice called conscience?

The big guns that boom,
Spell humanity's doom;
For when all is lost,
Who shall bear the cost?
