As the noon sun beated down on me I thought to myself I would love to be able to see. I would be able to see Mita and Tila and finally see what Jericho actually looks like.

" He's coming" Mita said as she moved her fruit cart up on the sidewalk. As the parade started to pass me by, I decided I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. I put my little tin cup on the ground and straightened up.

" Jesus, Son of David have mercy on me" I said in a very loud voice.

" Bartimaeus, hush up" Mita said as she watched the Rabbi and his followers go by.

" Jesus, Son of David have mercy on me" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

" Bartimaeus, be quiet now you've done it" Tila said to me.

Mita shook me and said " get up Bartimaeus the Rabbi is calling for you".
