I remember going outside after a rainstorm, when the sun peeked through again, and finding everything freshly washed and new, raindrops still sparkling on the leaves and grass like dew.

The air had that fresh clean smell, the sun was brighter somehow, and everything seemed to be possible, new discoveries trembled just on the edge of this transformed time, this brand new now.

I would run through the grass, diamond water drops flying from my shoes, and my arms outstretched to embrace I knew not what.... the destination did not seem so important as the things I would find along the way.

That feeling would last the entire rest of the day.... as everything I looked at was special, shimmery silver moments to tuck in my heart as I played.

Our love brings back that wonderful feeling, the world turns silvery and bright.... each moment filled with new promise, memories waiting to be made in loves light.

The true joy in the love that God has given us is not in reaching a destination, it is in the special moments each day when we discover our love is still fresh and new.

Now together we can run through the grass, flinging diamond water drops from our shoes, running eagerly toward what each new moment will hold, this future we share, me and you.

There is nothing that can dim the brightness, the freshness of the world we share, for each morning its washed in God's love and grace, and the prayers that we say fill the air.

I thank God each morning for this fresh-washed world and the beauty of the love I share with you!

Trish,
WOW! "The true joy in the love that God has given us is not in reaching a destination, it is in the special moments each day when we discover our love is still fresh and new."
