Be not ashamed to testify,
Testimony of our Lord;
Suffering shares that magnify,
Afflictions as in one accord.

He saved and called to a calling,
Because of His purpose and grace;
Set with Adam and his falling,
Allowing Jesus to embrace.

Manifested by appearing,
Of our Savior Jesus Christ;
For honoring and revering,
For each of us to be enticed.

He abolished death and brought life,
Gave immortality to light;
Guiding us for avoiding strife,
Through the Gospel giving insight.

A poet I am anointed,
Professing being a teacher;
Whereunto I was appointed,
A means to be an out-reacher.

For this is why I also suffer,
But not ashamed what I believe;
Because Jesus Christ will buffer,
Being convinced what I receive.

Hold fast hearing the Holy Word,
In faith and love that are in Christ;
For the sound words that you have heard,
The reason He was sacrificed.

For His Spirit who dwells within,
Guard the gifts entrusted in you;
He will give you the discipline,
That keeps you as humbled and true.
