Make a Joyful Noise

 Paul and Silas preaching the Gospel, to save souls from hell.
Got stripped and flogged, and thrown in jail.
The jailer put them in an inner cell, and fastened their feet in stocks.
The jailer had the only key, for the tighten locks.
Around midnight Paul and Silas began to sing.
Lifting their hands, praising their King.
There was a great earthquake, and the foundations of the prison did shake.
The prisoners were free, but none did forsake.
Thinking the prisoners had fled.
The jailer thought he was better off dead.
He pulled out his sword, and he shed a tear.
Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”
The jailer then trembled before Silas and Paul.
In his entire life nothing like that, did he ever saw.
The jailer shouted and the jailer raved
He asked them, “sirs what must I do to be saved.”
“Believe in the Lord Jesus.” That’s what was told.
“And you shall be saved and your entire household.”
