                                 NEW BIRTH IS:

 Our Lord’s admonition that we must be ‘born again,’ for new life has been a puzzling dilemma for many over the ages. Our Lord revealed to Nicodemas, that we’ll never understand the kingdom of God or see the value of following Jesus unless we are born again.

                                     Overcoming fear

We fear what we don’t understand. One of these obstacles we’re challenged with is to overcome fear. There is not a person alive or has ever lived, that has not been fearful about something.

Whenever I’m reading and meditating upon God’s word, I know I’m recognizing heavenly promises. Joshua told the people of Israel before crossing the Jordan River: 

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NIV

                                     Releasing Control

Walking in the power of God’s presence and authority is to recognize the humble desire to surrender our own will and determination. That we recognize His Spiritual promptings. Living ‘new birth’ means we’re letting go ‘self,’ to receive something better!

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

My ‘new birth’ is being mindful, it is Christ living in me.

                              Understanding Grace

So that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:21

To recognize and understand grace is witnessing His transformation, what God alone, does through us with each new day.  AMEN
