"Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth." Isa 46:10 BSB
No matter what is happening, our heavenly Father's best advice has always been to be still as time reveals to us what God already knows. He calls us to stand firm in the knowledge of who He is and His promises to us. To walk by faith in Christ and not by sight.
When Jesus said it is finished, He meant it. Repeatedly, He tells us not to doubt, fear, or worry. Specifically, because God sees the end from the beginning, knowing that all ends favorably for those who trust in Him. All who have placed their faith in Jesus are seated in Christ at His right hand, fully qualified to participate in the Saints' inheritance. It is finished, and a glorious eternity awaits.
giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. Col 1:12 ESV
He implores us to believe him like a small child trusts their loving parents will feed them tonight. No worries, they expect it to happen. We can fully expect that the best Promise Maker in existence will fulfill His promises. When we do, fear evaporates, and the peace of Christ overcomes our circumstances.
I know it is not easy at times, but you can't give up. Where else can you turn? His peace is so close. It starts by taking your eyes off all those things you see that are creating fear. Worry will not fix it. Let go of those troubling thoughts and transition into His peace in the storm. Focus your thoughts on Jesus and cast all of your burdens on Him. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid. John 14:27 BSB
We are not the ones fighting the battle. The battle is the Lords. Be still, stand firm in the faith, and let not your heart be troubled. Live here for tomorrow, or go home today, we cannot lose in Christ.
Many more New Covenant Bible Studies HERE. Jesus poured out His blood for the New Covenant of grace and truth, replacing the Old Covenant law of Moses. Believers are exclusively under the New Covenant, the last will and testament of Jesus that began after the cross.
And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.” Luke 22:20
