“When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8b NAS
Recently, I realized God had used my circumstances to raise my faith level. At times, my flesh used to take me all the way down to my emotional basement. Now, my faith elevator won't go any lower than the tenth floor. Soon, I believe I will be stuck in the Spirit up on the roof, able to see the whole truth from our loving Father's perspective.
Current circumstances in this world have led to a rough ride at times. I have learned in a more intimate way that the battle is in our minds. When I look around at the enemy's activities and let my mind passively wander off into 'what if' thoughts and controversy, Jesus peace leaves, and the enemy appears larger than the Truth.
This is a battle for the faith, and we need to be actively involved in right believing if we hope to have victory and experience God's peace and power in all circumstances. Right believing lifted Peter above the storm and wrong thinking let him sink. We must refuse wrong thoughts at their onset. No matter what comes our way, we will not go down.
…taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 2 Cor 10:5b NAS
We are saved, headed home, and cannot lose. It is time for us to stop making excuses and fearing the loss of things in this world that we cannot take with us. It is time to forget ourselves and find real life as we offer eternal life to others. So many are struggling and demoralized, right next to us. They need our love, help, and encouragement. As we lift up others, Jesus shines through us, spreading His love and kindness that leads to repentance.
Don't waste this opportunity to trust in the Lord with all your heart as you build overcoming faith and treasure in heaven that will be waiting for you when you get there. We can't go wrong living by faith and loving like Jesus.
"BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH." Rom 1:17b NAS
…Love one another. As I have loved you…John 13:34 NAS
Many more New Covenant Bible Studies HERE. Jesus poured out His blood for the New Covenant of grace and truth, replacing the Old Covenant law of Moses. Believers are exclusively under the New Covenant, the last will and testament of Jesus that began after the cross.
And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.” Luke 22:20
