Let no one judge in what you eat,
Nor question you on what you drink;
In respect to the type of meat,
Regardless of what they might think.
No matter of what festival,
Of the Sabbath or a new moon;
It depends on the interval,
Heedless if midnight or high noon.
These are a shadow of the things.
The substance that belongs to Christ;
Because of what the end time brings,
This world not to become enticed.
Let no one disqualify you,
Insisting on asceticism;
Worshipping angels that construe,
Immoral romanticism.
Puffed up in sensuous mind,
Into a detailed sensation;
Seduce for seeking to spellbind,
Luring you into temptation.
You have to hold fast to the Head,
From whom the body is nourished;
Nutrition that the Lord has fed,
Makes the body to be flourished.
Wherefore if with Christ you had died,
To the elemental spirits;
You still live in the crucified,
Because of your faith and merits.
Do not handle, nor taste, nor touch,
In which all these things will perish;
Love not material things that much,
Things of this earth that you cherish.
They are human precepts as taught,
Commandments and doctrines of men;
The worldly things that you have sought,
God will eventually condemn.
These are appearing as wisdom,
Promoting self-made religion;
But it is not from His Kingdom,
Comes from a human origin.
