Oh yes, this is what mankind truly needs, a food that is not for the stomach, but rather one for the heart and the soul. All this world feeds the heart and soul are empty promises, promises that can in no way offer eternal life. This world cannot offer that which the heart and soul desire. This can be offered only by Jesus Christ. Jesus has promised here that He can and does provide such food for us. Where else but in Christ can you soul truly be touched? And where else can you find food that leads to eternal life? Yes, God the Father, the One who desires a deep and intimate relationship with each human soul which He has created has most definitely put His seal of approval upon His Son, the intercessor between the Father and each of us. Eat the bread provided by Christ and your soul will be touched as it has never been touched before!
