Ok people, its time to take off the worry hat and put on your praise hat. Things are getting some better. Maybe you aren’t back in the office yet, but it will happen. Have faith. Have your read Matthew 6:34 recently? We are reminded to let tomorrow worry about its own issues. Today is the day at hand.
Isaiah 41:13 reminds us that God holds our right hand, and says fear not, I will help you. In Philippians 4:19 we are told God will supply all we need.
I mean, good gravy, you have enough to keep you occupied today without getting tomorrow involved. You have Bible study, prayer time, laundry, dishes, school work, a job and who knew kids needed to eat three times a day! That’s enough to keep you busy from dawn to dusk and you want to add another twenty-four hours of work to that?
Remember the old song, “One Day at a time”, “Give me the strength to do every day JUST what I HAVE to do. Yesterdays gone and tomorrow may never be mine.” You mean we are wasting time worrying about a day we might never see? Seriously what is that all about?
So, lets concentrate only on today, one hour at a time. Focus on the first hour and what you need to accomplish. Then the second hour and so on. By the time you have made each hour a purposeful and intentional time, your day will be over.
Just remember to thaw out dinner in the first hour, or its bologna sandwiches AGAIN.
