On or about 2020 years ago Jesus was crucified and resurrected in the springtime. I'm not sure if it was April, but this world memorialized this week as the point in time when it occurred. At this point in my life, I won't refer to the event as Easter but Resurrection day. Easter has a commercialized connotation towards Egg hunting and shopping.
The premise for Sacrifice is that you give up something material, in the context of the spiritual realm. What I mean is. Jesus's material being, His flesh was removed from the current space in time. So, the Holy Spirit's presence could manifest in our life, without going through the pain and suffering He experienced.
God wants us to embrace and to have a full understanding of the power of the Spirit can control our fleshly desires. That means we Sacrifice the worldly things and be Resurrected in a newness of life everlasting with God.
Peace, Love, and Wholeness forever!
