ARE YOU EMPTY SPACE?
I’ve learned from studying my Bible and other scriptural references that we’ve been cleaned inside and out by the blood of Jesus. God doesn’t hold anything against us anymore. To me, this represents His desire for us to live in innocence as if we’ve never sinned; not even a memory to cling on too.
The washing by the blood cleaned our thought life, so it could line up with the mind of Christ’s. Jesus clearly stated in John 17, that he wants us to live in His joy. Most of us can accept this without an ounce of worry. We want peace, love, and happiness in every aspect of our life and lifestyle.
The outside washing from the blood, to me, means, that all the effects of sin are predestined for scrubbing when we are ready. We were given free will and heaven won’t interfere with this, but that doesn’t mean our lifestyles won’t push us into begging for help. It must get hard or we won’t cry out. A lot of what we do we do out of wrong thinking and the emotions attached to them come from a fear-based mind. This fearful thinking and the way we talk about the thoughts we have running amok in our mind create our reality.
God already thinks of us as clean and holy, but it’s how we feel about ourselves and what we’ve done in life that determines whether we walk with Him without fear of retributions. God is not mad at us, but our shame won’t allow Him near enough to prove this. Something must occur to make us cry out for His help. God doesn’t want the gap. He holds us in the palm of His hand, but we won’t hold tightly to Him.
This is where Jesus still comes in to play as our Savior. Just like He did on earth, He still does for us while residing in heaven. He follows wherever the Holy Spirit leads Him. Only now, He is lead to our fears, the offenses that keep our hearts trapped in shame and cringing in fear of retributions. In other words, He is lead into OUR wilderness to face Satan on our behalf. Why? So, His perfect love can cast out fear.
Think about a wilderness space. It’s a large, dark, roasting, and almost empty place with a tiny oasis in the center. This oasis is the place where the tormentor wants to live. It’s also where we are trapped or hemmed in by this messenger of doubts, of failures, hunger, thirst, debt, sicknesses, lack, pain and sufferings. This ‘almost’ empty space is not real, but we have made it bigger than everything else in our life. So, when we profess to be Christians, expect to be taken to this place where this evil messenger gets dealt with properly. It won’t be pleasant, you will feel like you’re being dragged kicking and screaming to your death, but it is for your good. Jesus will not tolerate anything sitting in His position as a voice. If we aren’t living in a loving environment, we soon will be. Remember this and keep your mouths shut. Don’t complain! It only slows the process.
Jesus cleaned our universe of evil with His blood, this includes our thoughts as well as the effects manifested from evil thinking. Here is my point, an atom is like a universe, it is 99.9999999999996% empty space. Our spirit is the tiny speck inside this atom like the oasis in a wilderness that is not empty space, and we’ve been given free will to fill the empty with whatever we want to trust and believe. Let’s refer to scripture.
Luke 11:25-26 Message Bible When a corrupting spirit is expelled from someone, it drifts along through the desert looking for an oasis, some unsuspecting soul it can bedevil. When it doesn’t find anyone, it says, ‘I’ll go back to my old haunt.’ On return, it finds the person swept and dusted, but vacant. It then runs out and rounds up seven other spirits dirtier than itself and they all move in, whooping it up. That person ends up far worse than if he’d never gotten cleaned up in the first place.”
After reading these verses, do you want to remain an empty space for evils to reside and torture your thinking or do you wish to fill the 99.9999999999996% left empty and unfurnished with God’s love, and seven of His spirits; power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessings? I certainly do! All 7 of these I listed were given to the lamb after He went to the cross. He was worthy and now He is willing to share these with us where we can operate in a proper mindset without fear of an evil messenger speaking in our ears. Satan is a liar. Your voice is bigger! Here is where you need to speak up! Don’t let him take up room in your universe remind him of Who and What fills you up. Your love for God can cast him out!
Revelation 5:11-14 Message Bible I looked again. I heard a company of Angels around the Throne, the Animals, and the Elders—ten thousand times ten thousand their number, thousand after thousand after thousand in full song: The slain Lamb is worthy! Take the power, the wealth, the wisdom, the strength! Take the honor, the glory, the blessing!
John 16: 13-15 Message Bible But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He won’t draw attention to himself but will make sense out of what is about to happen and, indeed, out of all that I have done and said. He will honor me; he will take from me and deliver it to you. Everything the Father has is also mine. That is why I’ve said, ‘He takes from me and delivers to you.’
When things begin to shift toward what frightens you, allow the Holy Spirit to take Jesus to your deepest fears. He wants to use His fuller’s soap and wash away every memory of torment. It’s His job to glorify God’s love for us by replacing fear with what is rightfully ours, so your mind and lifestyle/reality reflect the truth, for others to see the difference God’s love and companionship makes in life. This is a good thing. We ARE MADE righteous, to give HIM an offering of praise and thanksgiving.
Malachi 3:2-4 Message Bible But who will be able to stand up to that coming? Who can survive his appearance? He’ll be like white-hot fire from the smelter’s furnace. He’ll be like the strongest lye soap at the laundry. He’ll take his place as a refiner of silver, as a cleanser of dirty clothes. He’ll scrub the Levite priests clean, refine them like gold and silver, until they’re fit for God, fit to present offerings of righteousness. Then, and only then, will Judah and Jerusalem be fit and pleasing to God, as they used to be in the years long ago.
