God has a planned victory for our life and it is up to us to give ourselves every opportunity to find it and fulfill it.
In Deuteronomy 7:1-2, God was guiding the Israelites in a direction where they could possess the land He had promised them. God is doing the same for us right now but we might be unaware of the plan He has.
I believe that He is leading you and me into the abundant life He has promised us. But the real enemy lurks within our minds and thru our thoughts.
As the enemy nations came against the Israelites, so it is with us. Our enemy is Satan, the devil, and he is coming against us on a daily basis. Trying to confuse us into believing lies about the plan of God in our lives. That is why we often feel hopeless thru our circumstances.
God told the Israelites to “utterly destroy” the ungodly enemy nations and to “not make a covenant (treaty) with them nor show mercy and compassion to them.”
If we will develop this same mind-set and plan of action toward our enemy and deal with ungodly thoughts, words and actions, we will find ourselves in a position to receive God’s promises and to reach our destinies.
It is in our thoughts that Satan has the greatest victory. Negative thoughts and words are our enemies because they hinder us from being the people God wants us to be.
And so the enemy is stealing away from us our God given destiny to experience peace and joy even while we are in the world.
Changing our thoughts is the beginning of new and joyful days.
