Narrator begins again: I know this lady. She just seems to ooze with sweetness and goodness. She has such a caring heart for those in her life from day to day and for those who cross her path. She seems automatically to believe the best about everyone, no matter how suspicious their behavior may be. I worry sometimes that she seems so naive, so gullible, so easily led. Someone could take advantage of her so readily. It has probably already happened numerous times, but she doesn’t seem to know any other way to be than just plain highly vulnerable. How can she not be hurt more deeply in days to come? She’s primed for it, a disaster waiting to happen. How can she avoid great damage to her tenderly sensitive soul? I see another catastrophe taking shape for her. How can it be averted….. unless…..hmmmm….(narrator touches chin) (The narrator taps and turns woman around and she emerges from the shadows and leads her to the man who has also been standing in shadows. Narrator also taps and turns the man around, saying to the man,
“Honesty, I want you to meet Kindness. Kindness, meet Honesty.”
The two who have just been introduced look steadily into one another’s eyes….and slowly, carefully extend their right hands in a greeting.
“Be kind and honest and you will live a long life; others will respect you and treat you fairly.” Proverbs Chapter 21, verse 21 (GNT) (appears on overhead)
