As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. Romans 4:17 NIV
God told Abraham that he would be the father of many nations. Abraham had no children, and was well advanced in years, along with his wife Sarah. But Abraham believed the promise God made to him. He did not know how it would be accomplished, yet he trusted in God. God credited Abraham’s faith to him as righteousness. Do you have situations in your life that seem hopeless, situations which you do not have the power to resolve yourself? Why not humbly approach God, release your desires and needs to Him, and trust Him to resolve them in a manner which is truly best for you? Believe in God. He is your Creator, and has your well being in mind. Never lose trust in Him, even if situations don’t immediately improve. Talk with God. He will take care of and provide for You. He would not have it any other way.
