God is Worthy
The yellow sun was shining bright and warm. White fluffy clouds floated in the azure blue sky. A gentle breeze ruffled the tops of fruit-laden apple trees. Adam smiled at his companion as he knelt to pat the frisky dog jumping for his attention. Two sleek leopards sauntered across the lush pasture land a short distance away.
On a far ocean, a sleek blue whale spouted, then breached. Gentle waves lapped at a sandy, shell-littered shore. On the opposite side of the planet, a myriad of twinkling stars lit up the night sky. The moon was breath-taking in its fullness.
Gazing at the awesome sight before Him, the Creator declared, “It is very good.”
What a Creator! Yet He wants a relationship with us. Psalm 8:3-4, and 6 declares, “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him...You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet...”. The Apostle John also reminds us, “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” 1 John 3:1
A Creator like that deserves our praise and worship. Have you taken time to do that today? Don’t delay. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” Psalm 100:4
