My grace is sufficient for you; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. - 2 Cor. 12:9
Life is a journey...
and the only perfect aspect of it is God Himself.
But what a blessing to know God's grace is sufficient throughout our journey here on earth. It means we're free to go to our Heavenly Father when we need His help, His guidance, His wisdom, His protection, His provision, because we don't have all the answers.
And never will.
But He does.
His grace means we are free to ask Him for His forgiveness, His grace, His mercy; to tell Him we sure could use a glimpse of His love, His majesty, or His encouragement right now.
It means we're free to sob out our hearts to Him. Or dance and sing to our hearts' content for Him in childlike delight.
It means we're free to admit to Him our tanks are running low and in serious need of Him filling us up again with Himself.
It means we can be ourselves with Him...because He already knows us anyway. Who do we think we're fooling when we go to Him, trying to appear all "put together" when we're really hanging on by one last good nerve -- and somebody's jumping up and down on it?!
God's grace means He's big enough to meet our character flaws, our sins, our mistakes, our weaknesses head-on and still say, "I love you, My child."
Now that's grace...
