Poetry
I will highly praise our God,
And praise His name forever;
Blessing through honor and laud,
A bond that will not sever.
The Lord is great, highly praised,
His greatness unsearchable;
All of our hands be raised,
For He is accessible.
We will be praising His deeds,
Talk about His mighty acts;
He caters to our needs,
Not rumors rather just facts.
I think of His majesty,
The miraculous things done;
That seems like a mystery,
Ever since time had begun.
People talk of His power,
Terrified greatness of deeds;
The coming of the hour,
When expectation exceeds.
Remember His great goodness,
As we will joyfully sing;
All about His righteousness,
Of the benefits to bring.
The Lord is compassionate,
Mercifully to forgive;
Patient and affectionate,
For assisting us to live.
The Lord has been good to all,
Compassion that He has made;
Picking us up when we fall,
Calming the fears when afraid.
So give thanks unto the Lord,
Faithful ones need to praise Him;
Living within one accord,
Making you glad and not grim.
The Lord protects all who love,
The wicked He will destroy;
Upon His throne up above,
The words His mouth will deploy.
