Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23 NIV

Jesus was very busy during His short-lived period of ministry. He had much work to do for the Father. His “away” time was time to pray and be alone with His Father.

Jesus taught in the synagogues. He taught the truth that the religious leaders of His day would not teach. Again, I say, He taught the truth. One must hear the truth in order to learn from and apply it. He taught the truth about the Father, not the man-made laws which the religious leaders focused upon. What Jesus taught did not lay burdens upon the heart, mind, and soul of the listener.

Jesus preached about the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven is near. The kingdom is for those who follow the path of the Lord. The kingdom is near to those who believe, not in laws created by man, but, through belief in Jesus Christ, the Father’s only Son.

Jesus healed the multitudes who were brought to Him with all types of ailments and sicknesses. He healed their bodies.

It is one thing to be healed of a physical sickness, but, a different healing to have the heart, mind and soul healed. This is the true healing we all need. Jesus healed many souls while here on earth, and continues to heal souls of those who come to Him. He turns no sincere heart away.
